8535 (TA-Luft VDI 2440 & API 622 2nd certified)

It is a gland packing which reinforced the outside of MacFoil (expanded graphite) with metal wire and then braided PTFE film encapsulated (PAT.) Yarn into a sectionally square shape. 

Since the surface of the gland packing is reinforced with metal wire and the outer cover is covered with PTFE, it is excellent in sliding characteristics, excellent in pressure resistance performance and maintainability. 
Conventional graphite type low gliding type gland packing was generally designed to reduce stem torque by impregnation, but by mechanically combining PTFE film, stable sealing performance and sliding characteristics are obtained for a long term It is a new type of gland packing that can be done.
